Elisa Riley is a third-generation member of the Prosser community. After graduating from Prosser High School in 1996, she attended Washington State University. Majoring in Communication, with a Minor in Political Science, Elisa was Editor of the 1999-2000 WSU Yearbook—“The Chinook,” and selected the 2000 Student of the Year of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication. She was a member of the WSU Honors College, and was awarded an “Honors Distinction.”
Elisa attended Gonzaga School of Law, graduating in 2003. After graduation, Elisa worked at the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office in Kennewick. Elisa practiced in District and Juvenile Court, and was the Juvenile Drug Court Prosecutor.
In 2007, Elisa returned to Prosser to begin private practice with Howard M. Saxton, III. Her husband, Ben Riley joined the office in 2014, establishing the law office of: Saxton, Riley & Riley, PLLC.
She serves as one of the City Attorneys for the communities of Prosser, Sunnyside, and Toppenish. Elisa was elected to the Prosser School Board in November 2021. She is a current member of the Prosser Rotary Club, and Past President. She served as President of Prosser Friends of the Library, and is a member of the Prosser Eagles and life-long member of the Prosser United Methodist Church.
Ben and Elisa have two young daughters.
